Well, i went to a wonderful concert. I saw taking back sunday, muse, interpol, the killers, franz ferdinand and modest mouse. I met the guys from muse, they're so hot in person. But interpol was the best band of the night. I was so into them, they blew my mind. Freaking orgasmic. Anyway, i'm going home on friday for xmas break, i'm so happy to go home. I can't wait to see all my friends again, and my kitty.

Life is at a stand still.

Today/yesterday was a good day. No homework was accomplished, but work is what suffocates us in life. Our capatilistic society doesn't allow us to live, to just live. We need to work to buy stuff then keep working in order to keep paying for the stuff while at the same time lusting for more material wealth. Its a vicious cycle. My roomy and i were discussing this today. In europe they have afternoon "naptimes" or siestas where everyone takes a break. Shops and businesses are closed, no one is on the street. We can't be that way here because we are too money centered. If we rest, there'll always be someone out there who will give up his break time for the sake of furthering profit. We need to start from zero, its the only way to achieve equality. I think i'm sounding too much like a communist now. But everyone has a little communist trying to escape the capatilist monster inside them. If not that, at least a socialist. Better stop before the secret service comes after me for trying to overthrow the government.

 Italy, where i'll find my future husband and live out the last of my days.

Such a good weekend/week. I went home-to L.A.! I loved being home again, it was great. I saw my family, they were all happy to see me and i got some money so it was good. I also bought a purse with decorations on it. i usually just use a plain black purse but i'm taking smaller steps in becoming more of a adult like buying decorative purses and wearing pants (juan said i looked like a school girl in skirts all the time-it didn't help that i was one for practically my whole life before college). I don't see what the big deal about wearing jeans, or pants in general is. I also don't see what the big deal is if i choose to wear skirts rather than pants. Its not like i'm a guy in drag (if i were i'd only wear skirts too), i guess its because skirts aren't as popular as pants. I mean, everyone can wear pants but only girls and drag queens can wear skirts--unless its a kilt and then i guess its not so weird. I'm just bringing skirts back into the main stream. When i go to concerts, obviously i'll wear jeans but other than that i don't see why skirts can't be an everyday thing when worn appropriately and according to the season. Whatever. Anyway, back to the "subject", i went home this weekend. I was able to see the last of my remaining cats--"and then there was one..." I only have one of four kitties left. We suspect someone abducted our other cats, we have no suspects as of yet. I'm kind of disappointed that most of the people i've met here don't like cats. I love cats. Eddie Vedder has a cat, but then again he's just the perfect man. How can someone hate such adorable, soft animals? I don't understand.

 Has nothing to do with anything, i just haven't put a pic up of ed norton in a while. This is my new background. Beautiful man.
